What Students and Parents are saying about Genius by Choice:

I got the highest mark in both of the classes I was taking. I got 93 in my first 4th year class (Ebusiness), and 92 in Financial accounting. Both yielded an A+ and a 4.0 GPA.  I went into my accounting final with 99%. Who would have thought? Seriously. I still can't believe how far I've come. Thanks for everything.  - Brett, St Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia

Thanks for the great advice Terry, I really appreciate it. I have some good news to tell you. I got to redo reading comp that replaces the test that I got 35% on and I ended up getting a 90%. I’m am pretty pumped about that. – Mark, Grade 12, Calgary

Jackie took Bio 20 this year and of course used your teachings to study and is holding a 95%. Thanks so much for everything. - Parent of Gr. 11 student, Calgary

Last year I got a 3.85 GPA!!!!!! I was so excited when I saw it on my student center!! I finally feel like I am getting the hang of test writing and I am not nearly as nervous when I go in to write but rather excited to write the exam! Thank you so much for Genius by Choice! Now I feel like my hard work is actually paying off and I am getting the grades I know I was capable of. - Kim, University of Calgary

In Math and Geology my lowest mark has been an -A. I got 92% on both of my Math tests and I got 82% on my second Geology mid-term (which was the -A). I'm really excited for next semester for sure! Its going to be a BLAST!!!! I think I'm most excited for Calc. Thanks for everything you have taught me. - Kallum, Mount Royal University, Calgary

I am now in my second trimester at Logan college and fittingly I have acquired the nick name "genius". The courses I am taking are for the most part a repeat of what I took at the university; I am please to report that I can recall nearly all of that information without problem or confusion. Thankfully, this has made the first two trimesters for the most part fairly easy for me, not so for my other classmates. I am constantly asked how I study and what I do to get such good grades. It’s a nice feeling. - Carolyn, Logan University, College of Chiropractic, Missouri, USA

I did really badly in Calculus last year at the U of C. I had such good marks in high school, but, not very good at university. I just received my midterm mark in Calculus at Mount Royal, and got a 97%. I am following your system and one thing that is helping so much is the schedule you put together for me. – James, Mount Royal University, Calgary

Well I really wanted to tell you when I got all of my mid-terms back but I don't write my Geology lecture one till next friday. So I'm going to spill the beans! I totally destroyed my Calc mid-term and I got 94% on it. I was so excited about it. - Kal, Mount Royal University, Calgary

We wanted to say thank you so much for helping Trisha. Her anxiety around exam time is completely gone. She has always been a good student, but her anxiety before her exams was getting worse and worse. It is like night and day the difference is so noticeable. Trisha is clear on how to use your program, and is applying it to every class. She has a 93% in Social 10, 82.5% in Science 10, and 100% in Religion. - Parent of Gr. 10 student, Calgary

I would like to say thank you for all the great new things you have taught our daughter Jennifer. She is very happy and she is more confident with herself. Jennifer just phoned me 1 hour ago from school to tell me that she received a 92% on her a Language Arts project. - Parent of Gr. 12 Student, Cochrane

I thought I would keep you updated! I just got my Psych (Brain and Behaviour) midterm mark and I got 90%!!. – Kimberly, University of Calgary, Faculty of Kinesiology

My last year’s Grade Point Average was 68%. I just got back my first mid term mark. Things are off to a GREAT start. I got 91% on my macro economics midterm ! I made four mistakes that I could have easily gotten 100. I've also gotten nothing less than 99 % on the four assignments I have handed in to date in financial accounting and statistics. Everything looks good going into midterms and my confidence is high ! I want that 4.0 GPA ! - Brett , St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia

Great news I got into the University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business!!!! I finished English 30 (in class) with an 82% and Social 30 with an 82% as well. I also received a $1000.00 scholarship.- Mark, Gr.12 Student, Calgary

Great news again from Jenessa, she received a A+ in her business report.  She is thrilled and once again I hear her saying “I love my business course”  this is music to my ears!  I’m so proud of her  that  she is continuing to accomplish this all on her own. We don’t know what we would have done without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have been a blessing to our family. – Parent, Trinity Western University, BC

I really needed to boost my confidence and give myself a more competitive edge.  Genius By Choice really helped me accomplish these things.  I wasn’t feeling too confident about studying before I took  Genius by Choice but afterwards I understood how much it would benefit me.  I found it very easy to understand the program and instantly applied it to my first semester final exams.  Not only did I improve my marks overall, but my final exam marks had increased by a difference of approximately 20% in the two courses I was struggling with most. - Camille, University of Calgary

Genius by Choice …. Absolutely!!! After our first conversation and subsequently applying these study methods during my latest personal challenge proved without a doubt the system works!! I completed a series of written tests and one final exam towards attaining my PADI certificate, 100% on every exam and final. - Dale, Petroleum Engineering

Hi Terry Just wanted to let you know what your course has done for me. I haven't studied for an exam in over thirty-five years. When I decided to get my life insurance license and received the books to study, I was overwhelmed. I had no idea how on earth how I could learn all the material in the manuals. After taking your course, I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. It gave me the confidence to think that I can actually do this. And I passed my exams on the first try. I couldn’t have done it without you. - Linda, Insurance Licensing

Genius by Choice is an effective and simple method to study that is applicable to many situations and classes. At midterm for social 30 I was at 58%, on my last Topic A Exam (covers everything since the beginning of the term to the halfway point) I received 89%. I learned the method 5 days before the exam, and within that time I studied a whole textbook. – Stephan, Gr. 12 Student, Cochrane

The challenge I have faced throughout school was learning how to study efficiently.  After learning how to study through Genius By Choice I learned how to retain studied information properly and efficiently!  Tests have become easier to write and a lot less stressful. I like to learn now and I feel I have been taught a very valuable and important life skill.  I wish I could have learned this sooner! – Ashley, SAIT, Calgary

Terry, I just wanted to let you know that Sarah received an award from the town of Okotoks for finishing with the 2nd highest grade point average for females from grade 12 for 2008-2009. I appreciate so much for what you have taught Sarah. Thank you and thank you again. - Grandparent, Calgary

Terry, I got accepted into the U of C, Faculty of Engineering! YEA!! Thanks for all your help. – Dianna, U of Calgary

Terry, I wanted to let you know that coming through Genius by Choice was a real turning point in David’s academics. He has just soared since coming through your program. Thanks so much for everything. - Parent of Gr. 12 student

YIPPEE! I just got accepted into Trinity Western with a $6000.00 scholarship. I had 93% in Science 30 and 99% in Math 30 Applied. You have been such a support and inspiration for me. Thanks. - Jenessa, Trinity Western University, BC

After my 4th year of University, using the Genius by Choice method consistently I have raised my grade point average to 3.95 on a 4.0 scale! I even had the highest mark in Advanced Embryology – 98% I went from C’s, B’s and (I don’t like to admit it) the odd D, to straight A’s!! – Carolyn, University of Calgary

As a mature student, I was incredibly intimidated going back to school. I worked so hard and only got B’s. I was so frustrated. Now, because of Genius by Choice, my grade point average is 3.7 and I have been accepted to the Master’s of Nursing program. Thanks so much for everything you have done for me. – Nadine, Faculty of Nursing, U of Calgary

Jim’s final in Math 20 was 75%. He just finished his first mid-term in Math 30 and had a 94%. Wow! What an improvement. All of his marks have come up. He used to get so nervous before exams, but now, he seems calmer and handles the stress so much better.  Thanks for everything.  - Parent of Gr. 12 student, Calgary

Reid finished grade 10 with an 80%. Considering how sick I was this year, I was so relieved to see these marks. Thanks for all your patience and effort in working with him. Parent of Gr. 10 student, Calgary

Hi Terry, Derek just got a 90% on a Bio 30 quiz and an 83% on a bio unit final. He had finished Bio 20 with a 77% last year, so we are thrilled to see these higher marks this year. We always believed he could do better. – Parent of Gr. 12 student, Calgary

Shelby was having so much trouble writing exams. Her course work was always pretty good, around 80% but she would drop so much on exams that her average was around 60%. After coming through your program, her exam marks started to come up and in fact, she just got an 84% on a Social Exam. - Parent of Gr 12 student, Cochrane

Hi Terry, Dolan had a fantastic second semester. He finished physics 20 with a 90%, Math 20 with an 84% and can you believe that 90% on his Chemistry 30 Diploma Exam!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty good. I am impressed! He is so proud of himself and so are we as his parents. The greatest thing here is Dolan has so much confidence in his ability to do well in school. (I love it, thank you). He couldn’t have done it without you. - Parent of Gr. 11 student, Calgary

Hi Terry, I wanted to let you know that I am referring you to one of my friends. My son, Andrew, came through your program 3 years ago, and he is now attending the Haskayne School of Business at the U of C. He would not have been accepted without your help. Thank you so much for everything. - Parent of U of C student, Calgary
